Conway's Game of Life taken off the plane. Every cell sits in a cube with 26 neighbours, and a rule of the same shape as Conway's, born on some counts and surviving on others, grows crystals, clouds, coral and gliders out of a random seed. Edit the rule digit by digit while it runs, add dying states that fade through the palette, cut the cube open to see inside, and take cells out or put them in with a click.
